Please post about the following topic to the blog by Sunday, October 5, 8 PM:
Memorize a stanza (that's one of the four-line sections) of your choice from the Gita. Pick a stanza that reflects the sort of wisdom you want floating around in your head. Have your stanza memorized by Friday, October 3, so that you can recite it in class if called upon.
There is no blog due the night before Friday's class, but here's what you should post about the night before Monday's class. *Use* your memorized stanza in a conversation (with a roommate, someone at lunch, your mom, etc.). Try to make your use of the stanza non-arbitrary: that is, look for a meaningful and useful place in the conversation to recite it. Then post about how and why you used it in that conversation.
