Is Judgment Really so Wrong?

On the topic of not judging others, as stated by JJ even though it sounds wrong I strongly disagree. Every day no matter who you are, when you meet a person, or even see a person it is within human nature to judge them. Whether you are judging their clothes, their haircut, the way they talk, the way they act, it is completely instinctual to judge. Now on the topic of whether this is a bad thing or not, of course when taken to the point of hatred, judgment can be wrong. Put yourself in the position of a CEO interviewing people for a job; would you rather pick the caveman from the Geico commercials, or a clean cut business person? To judge is only human, and however wrong it may be it still provides an integral part of our lives. Judgments provide us with standards to live our life by, without them we would be nothing but chimps in pants. Judging people also helps us choose who we associate ourselves with, some people are just not generally good human beings; without the small judgments we pass on who we meet every day there would be chaos. Of course judgment goes too far when it comes down to racism or hatred, but the thousands of subconscious judgments we pass upon everyone help us live healthy lives.
