Jackie's Post
I think that Jackie has a very good point in that it is important to understand the lesson that is removing yourself from bad situations, but I think that loving your neighbors and enemies is the most important lesson. I think getting yourself into a situation where you sin in the problem, and I don't think that is so much once you are finally in one it is how you get out of the situation that matters. I think that is a good lesson to learn if you get into the situation and that it is good to learn from prior experiences, but just most extreme situations you should never really have to get yourself into. So that why I think that loving your friends and enemies, because if you are kind to everyone you have a larger possibility for friends and you can choose the good friends from bad friends. Also I think that the a lesson of friendship and kindness is a more important lesson and will be more helpful in life than just learning how to back away from something. Because friends are there to also help you out of a situation and will always be there to watch your back. I would much rather the lesson "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you," than "It is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell" because it would be a more helpful lesson to learn in life.
