Stop Judging

God told us to hold our judgments, for those who judge will be judged themselves. We live in an age where judgments are passed not only very frequently but very bitterly and angrily. From looking at a person and passing judgment that they are a rich snob, problem-causing teenager, or money-obsessed business person, we are very stereotypical and very commonly those stereotypes are not in a positive light. We see a man in a suit and greased back hair we assume he’s a man constantly at the office who is never home to see his kids or his wife, we see a younger girl with a child we assume that it is hers and she made a huge mistake with her life. We judge people based on looks alone and it only gets worse. I feel that the worse judgments are passed when you are acquainted with someone. For you feel like you know enough about them to judge their actions or words more in depth than you should.
However the most prevalent form on judgment in today’s society is the judgment of racial actions or beliefs. Many people will see someone of a certain race and assume they believe certain things or will act a certain way. To this day many see an Arabian person and feel that they are either members of Al Quita or that they are terrorists. We are an extremely judgmental age and it is starting to take its toll by causing arguments and possibly blocking future advances due to pre-formed ideas or beliefs.
